EVENT CHAIR: Stacy Page

Since 1957, the Rotary Club of Ashland has sponsored and hosted the annual Easter Egg Hunt for the children of Ashland and surrounding area.

The event is held each Easter Sunday at Lithia Park, near the tennis courts.  Club volunteers set up several age-=specific areas for children to gather.  Each area is roped off and filled with Easter goodies.

Age groups include:
1-2 Year Olds
3-4 Year Olds
5-6 Year Olds
7-8 Year Olds
9-10 Year Olds

The Easter Bunny makes an appearance and balloons are
filled and handed out to everyone who wants one.

Eggs are purchased by the club, 250 dozen of them, then they are transported, cooked and colored by Southern Oregon University Cascade Dining Hall staff, led by SODEXO, SOU's food service vendor.

Morre than 5,000 thousand chocolate eggs and other goodies are included in each age group area.

Golden eggs recovered from each age group wins a special prize.

Thank you all volunteers for supporting this community event.
