A group of early morning risers from the Interact club visits the Ashland Food Bank.
The Interact Committee is the group of Rotarians who embrace and support the 30-55 Ashland High student Interact Club. Each year they develop their leadership skills and participate in at least one community service and one world service project. The Interact Club at AHS is largely self-directed but Rotarians encourage students by assisting them to choose and execute service projects each year and understand the values of Rotary. Students and Rotarians also benefit through the Interact Club’s participation in various Rotary projects (Easter Egg Hunt, Ashland Reads, wrapping gifts for seniors, Oregon Battle of the Books, the Garden and many others). Activities of the Committee include bringing pizza to the student meetings at the AHS campus and occasionally meeting with the Interact Club and its officers to discuss their service projects and engagement with the Rotary Club of Ashland.
